Our DIN 1804 locknuts are used in a wide range of mechanical engineering applications.
The nuts can be used with or without a lock washer.
We only recommend installation together with a lock washer for connections that are not to be loosened for long periods of time.
For applications in which frequent loosening of the connection, coupled with the highest demands on axial run-out accuracy or weight reduction is crucial,
we recommend our Dorfmüller precision locknuts!
Note: Version H is induction-hardened on the circumference. As a result, the hardness on the flat surface may be lower.
