Our GUP locknuts with polyamide ring offer reliable and cost-effective protection against unintentional loosening!
Locking method:
The threadless polyamide ring of the GUP is slightly smaller than the flank dimension of the nut,
so that the shaft must displace the material of the ring when the nut is screwed on.
This creates additional friction in the thread, resulting in the locking effect.
Note:
- Application temperature only up to max. 100°C/120°C (permanent/peak) for higher temperatures please use our Dorfmüller locknut GUS.
- Can only be reused to a limited extent, as the locking effect diminishes with each screwing and unscrewing.
